FemFriday Night's Music line up:
LosFeliz Music
LosFeliz is the musical vehicle for Lucy Powell – a Brighton-based alt-folk singer-songwriter who specialises in melancholia, chamber-like vocals and reverb guitar. The songs she recorded for her album were recorded in a rural chapel in Wales that her ancestors had built and has created a form of peace offering to her family old and newly-found. Lucy's music is made to be listened to in the dark, when she promises to transport us to a place where nostalgia and intimacy live together. After releasing her debut album ‘Ancestry’ in June 2017, LosFeliz has been touring the UK, performing in Europe and is currently working on a new collection of music.facebook.com/losfelizmusic

Greenness
Greenness is the musical project of French singer-songwriter Cess Frangi and British musician and artist Graham Pratt. The psychedelic folk duo have been collaborating since 2010 and are currently recording their second EP, a collection of original songs where intricate guitar melodies meet vocals both powerful and fragile. Telling stories of love, loss, dreams and visions, they have been continuously developing their live sound. They regularly perform around their adopted home of Brighton (including Fringe Festival, The Alternative Escape, Oxjam and Sofar Sounds), as well as national and European tours. Cess is very active on the feminist scene and curates Brighton's FemFest to raise awareness and funds for women's charities and domestic violence services. Greenness also participated in London's Loud Women Fest 2016, where The Morning Star described their set as “a revelation, with Cess’ awesome voice superbly complemented by Graham’s distinctive guitar work.”

Kelly Convey
Introducing the Comedian I can’t wait to see again, Kelly Convey. She’s smart-ass funny with great observational humour. Described as “in-your-face and reassuringly confident” by Marissa Burgess, Chortle, she is not one to mince her words when giving audiences an insight into what modern women really think. Voted by The Metro as “1 of 9 Hilarious Women to Look Out for in 2017”, Kelly Convey is, no doubt, one to watch.
Kelly has no filter when it comes to her opinions on sex and society, sharing them in her hilarious, wholehearted performance that will make you feel like you’ve known her for years. With a face like butter wouldn’t melt and a mouth like a white van man, Kelly brings a refreshing mix of feminine and ladette style to subjects women rarely talk about in public.
